This story is about my experience of surviving a stroke as well as sharing that experience with othersthose who have survived; family and friends of those survivors; and the medical, religious and spiritual people in my life. I am sharing it because I have been told by several people who have heard this story, or read earlier versions, that it has inspired them in ways they did not expect. I hope it can continue to do this for other readers. I believe we have all been put on this earth to do something special, for one person at least, and possibly for a multitude. We can go through some very traumatic events and pull through, then journey on to what we were designed to do or be. It may or may not be an easy road to travel, but the journey is worth it; it feels right with the soul.
